The Credit Union offers several types of savings accounts to its members — Share Accounts, Christmas Club Accounts, and Vacation Club Accounts. Regular Share Accounts provide a convenient way to save for just about anything, while the Christmas and Vacation Club Accounts allow you to save with a specific payout date.
When you deposit money into the Credit Union, you are actually buying shares in the Credit Union. Each $5.00 deposit is equivalent to one share. The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund insures all Credit Union members’ accounts up to $250,000.00 through their U.S. Government-backed program.
The Regular Share Account establishes your membership and makes you a part owner of the Crayola LLC Employees Federal Credit Union. Eligible employees can open a share/savings account in the Credit Union with a minimum deposit of $5.00. To open an account, simply complete the Important Information form available from the Credit Union and return it with $5.00 for one share.
At least once during the year we all have a need for some extra cash – Christmas time! If you’re like most people, it isn’t always easy to set enough money aside ahead of time to cover these expenses and we usually end up putting these costs on a high interest credit card.
Make monthly or weekly deposits, it doesn’t matter. If your employer offers payroll deduction, take advantage and set aside a little money each pay period. Christmas club funds will be deposited to your share savings account in October so you can start your holiday shopping before the rush.
Your first step toward an affordable vacation is to save for it. Make that first step with a Crayola LLC Employees Federal Credit Union Vacation Club Account! With a vacation club account, the money is slightly less accessible making you less inclined to dip into it for other expenses.
